Why New Zealand

Stylised topographic outline of New Zealand

We began advising on New Zealand before it was the obvious answer to anything. The appeal then was the quality of the eight universities and the size of the country — small enough that an advisor can know how a specific programme is regarded by specific employers.

What changed is the comparison. Between 2024 and 2026 Canada narrowed post-graduation work permits by field of study, capped study-permit intake and let Express Entry cutoffs settle in a band most graduates cannot reach. New Zealand kept up to three years of open work rights for degree graduates, simplified residence to a six-point test, and published a list of roles that lead to residence.

So the practice narrowed deliberately. Depth in one system is more useful to a family making an irreversible financial decision than breadth across ten.

How we work

One destination, studied properly

A generalist agency covering ten countries cannot track policy in any of them. We read Immigration New Zealand's published settings, institution entry criteria and Green List changes as part of the job, because it is the only system we advise on.

The downside stated first

If your field has no credible line to work rights, or your funds evidence will not hold, you hear it in the first call rather than after a payment. A no that saves two years is worth more than a yes that costs them.

Sources, not assertions

Every figure we quote traces to a published policy document or official statistic, and we will show you where it comes from. Where the rules are about to change, we say so and give you the date.

Small on purpose

Files are worked by an advisor, not passed through a queue. That limits how many students we take each intake, and it is the trade we have chosen.

Wellington harbour at blue hour, city lights reflected on calm water

Boutique means you get a person, not a portal.

We keep the practice small on purpose. Your advisor knows your file, your dates and your family's circumstances without needing to look them up.

Speak to an advisor, not a call centre.

You will talk to someone who has worked New Zealand files for years and can tell you what your profile is worth in that system.
